We had a chance to enjoy the wonderful celebrations during the Cinco De Mayo parade in San Jose earlier in May. It was filled with colors, low riders and our favorites, the horse and solider. According to wikipedia:
Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for “fifth of May”) is a holiday held on May 5 that commemorates the Mexican army’s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza SeguÃn. It is celebrated primarily in the state of Puebla and in the United States.
It was awesome to shoot this event as we had full access to run around and shoot the spectators. Enjoy the pictures and let us know if there are other events to shoot around the bay!
